Warhammer 40k: Codex - Space Wolves

Space Wolves have earned the fame of being the most ruthless hunter of all Space Marines. The temper of these zealous warriors is tempered by the cold of Fenris, their homeworld, whose icy wastelands are fraught with countless dangers. They take their resilience from a desire to resemble Lehman Russ: their Primarch, also nicknamed the Wolf King, whose strength and ferocity are legendary. In pursuit of the enemies of the Imperium through the Sea of Stars, Space Wolves use special weapons and advanced technologies, although they can outwardly resemble beast-like barbarians. The armor plates of their combat vehicles are dotted with runes, totems and amulets hang from their plasma weapons, and space wolves wear the skins of predatory animals on top of their power armor.

Like the giant Fenrisian wolves that hunt in tandem with these formidable Astartes, the sons of Russ raise a howl, sensing the victim, and rush in pursuit. The smell of blood always encourages them to continue the fight, take risks and celebrate success with a joyful roar that marks glorious tales. Space wolves are an order of brave and boastful warriors, each of whom wants to immortalize his name in a beautiful saga!
